Now our name is all about you. As we explored new names, we kept returning to the qualities of the hosts we serve. You’re ambitious. You’re creative. But most importantly, you have a big heart. You are literally welcoming travelers like us into your homes, sharing your space and your kindness with the world. We hope that every time you see our new name pop up in your inbox, you’ll feel recognized and celebrated for all you do.

Before the sun fully sets on our original name, we thought we’d honor its origins and share with you our very first blog post, aptly titled bnbNomad. This short and sweet piece captures the timeline leading up to our full time Airbnb travels.

Believe it or not, we had never stepped foot in an Airbnb before we sold most our stuff, put the remainder in storage, quit a job, and drove over a thousand miles to another country. But don’t worry.
