We’ve said it before and we’ll say again: Every Airbnb is a great fit for some guests and a bad fit for others. A good listing should attract the right guests and repel the wrong ones. But! You want to be sure that you’re not accidentally turning away great guests because you didn’t address their key objection, especially when that objection is based on a misunderstanding.

Here’s a fantastic example of one host doing this perfectly. Lisa is a brand new host who just launched a beautiful Airbnb in rural Oregon. One of the biggest strengths of her Airbnb is its quiet location and stunning views. (Seriously, check out these photos. Who wouldn’t want to indulge in this view for a few days?)

However, this rural beauty could easily be misperceived as a weakness. Potential guests skimming through the listing might say, “Looks incredible…but…I bet it takes forever to get there. Next!” Actually, Lisa’s Airbnb is just 30 miles outside a city with a population of just over 100,000. But guests likely won’t know that unless she points it out.

Look at Lisa’s opening description for her listing. She strikes the perfect balance of addressing this key objection head on while still amplifying their unique rural Airbnb. “Say goodbye to streetlights and traffic jams and hello to vast blue skies and sweeping mountain vistas at this 2-bed, 1-bath vacation rental. Located on a rural ranch just 30 miles outside of Bend, this abode offers gorgeous scenery both inside and out. You’ll love…”
