Hi there! We’re Jay and Erin, the husband and wife team behind Big Heart Hosting. On the off chance you didn’t already know this: we love Airbnb. A lot. We discovered Airbnb in the spring of 2017 when we embarked on a nomadic adventure exploring North America. With our lanky pop Odin in tow, we lived for over a year exclusively in Airbnbs. Working remotely during the day and soaking up our surroundings by night, we became enamored with this way of traveling. From New England farms to Southwest cabins, our generous hosts and their distinctive homes made our adventures more incredible than we could have ever imagined.

Big Heart Hosting is our small way of giving back to a community that has enriched our lives in such lasting, meaningful ways. Now, all these years later, we’re still avid Airbnb travelers. We consult directly with folks to optimize their Airbnbs and interview hosts during our travels. Learning their stories is always our favorite part of what we do.

Since we’re guests, not hosts, our resources combine a multitude of hosting perspectives. Instead of being anchored in a single experience, everything we create is rooted in dozens of different stays. At the end of the day, we’re simply observers. We watch (in awe) as hosts like you create incredible experiences, and then we share that brilliance with the hosts in the Big Heart Hosting community.
